Barry Hood
Barry Hood is recognized as one of the leading artists working with glass today. A Montana native, Barry has traveled his whole life, continually broadening his perspective, always returning to the land. Since receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1972 he has worked full-time as a glass artist. His work celebrates the landscape, the natural gifts of the Earth and the elements.
Because Barry works primarily as a commission artist, his work transcends any particular style and defies categorization. Interpreting the needs and interests of his clients is of the utmost importance.
